Audit Committee

The Audit Committee is responsible for overseeing the establishment and implementation of a financial reporting process in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles, a system of internal controls promoting good financial stewardship, the independent financial statement audit process, the planning and management of business risks by the association, and the association’s compliance functions.

 

Finance Committee
The Finance Committee is responsible for financial oversight for the association’s entities – the 501c6, 501c3 and cooperative. This includes recommending financial policies, goals, and budgets that support the mission, values, and strategic goals of the association. 

Public Policy Committee

The Public Policy Committee is responsible for overseeing the association’s short and long-term public policy agenda, the strategies for achieving these goals, and the creation of a system of engagement among member hospitals, such as organized advocacy days designed to advance an agenda that will promote a favorable legislative and regulatory environment for children’s health and children’s hospitals. 

Quality and Safety Committee
he Quality and Safety Committee is responsible for the oversight of the association’s performance, quality and safety strategy, priorities and agenda. This includes working with and through member hospitals to impact the care of children in hospitals. The Committee works collaboratively across the association’s programs and committees and with allied organizations to work toward the establishment of national standards for the care of children.

Membership

Membership dues provide the critical funding necessary to build and sustain the infrastructure and resources for programs and services benefiting all participating children’s hospitals.
